past PERFORMANCES: The Living Room 2022

It began in a living room.  Well, seven living rooms. We came together (virtually) and we started writing. We wrote to make sense of the senseless, we wrote to remember our creative selves. We started dancing. We danced to make sure our bodies remembered how. We danced because it was a way to feel our togetherness, even though we were miles apart.

This writing and dancing from our living rooms was our lifeline during the pandemic. Two and a half years later, it has now become our pathway back to live performance.

We invite you to join us in the Living Room we are creating in Studio Three at Colorado Conservatory of Dance for our gentle, gradual and messy return to the stage. There will be spoken word, there will be dance. There will be the singular Artivist spark that you have come to expect from Art as Action shows.
